This recently launched sports watch is finished in 904L grade stainless steel and Everose 18k gold and has a 40mm case. The watch was updated by Rolex a few years ago and now benefits from a unidirectional scratch resistant ceramic bezel (Cerachrom).
The winding crown has a screw down mechanism which will allow diving up to 100 metres/330 ft.
The watch has the new generation 3285 calibre movement manufactured by Rolex which has been tested and certified as a superlative chronometer (COSC). The GMT also has a second time zone with independent rapid-setting of the hour hand. A new feature of this latest model is a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring ensuring greater accuracy.
The power reserve has now increased to a very practical 70 hours.
The bracelet likewise is made in 904L grade stainless steel and 18k everose gold and features a folding Oysterlock clasp and the Rolex Easylink 5mm comfort extension link. This makes it very easy to adjust without the need for any tools.
Night time reading is now much easier than previous models as it has a highly legible maxidot dial with a Chromalight display. This has a blue luminescence.
These are very desirable and rare sports watches and would suit a gentleman or a lady with the desire these days for larger watches.
